What is Shooger?

Shooger is a start-up mobile marketing company that connects consumers with coupons on the mobile platform. We are based in Coral Gables, Florida and run by a team of really cool people that want to help you save time, money, and trees.

What does Shooger do?

We hook you up with sweet deals from your favorite stores, restaurants, bars, salons, etc. by sending mobile coupons directly to your phone by text or through our free Smartphone app. No coupon-clipping necessary.

What is a Smartphone?

A Smartphone is literally a "smarter" phone than a regular cell phone. You can use a Smartphone to surf the web, download apps, navigate with GPS, etc. iPhone, Android, and Blackberry phones are all Smartphones.

How does it work?

  • Search for deals by category, location, business, or keyword.
  • "Redeem" your deal now or "Clip" your deal for later.
  • Get directions, open the business website, or call the business.

  • Search for deals by location, category, business, or keyword.
  • Print, Email, Like, Redeem, or Share your deal with your friends.

What is a short code?

A short code is a special telephone number that's shorter than a regular phone number (usually 5 or 6 digits) that are designed to be easily remembered. Our short code is 79338 (which spells SWEET on your dial pad).

What is a keyword?

A keyword is a special code word your favorite businesses will tell you to text in to receive their deals and become a subscriber. The keyword is usually the business name (example: "VANDYKE" for Van Dyke Cafe).

What is a subscriber?

You become a subscriber by texting in a business keyword to receive deals from that business.

Does this cost me anything?

No, texting in to subscribe to your favorite businesses and receiving deals via text cost the same as a text to your best friend. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and phone plan.

How often will I get text message deals from my favorite businesses?

You will get up to 4 text messages a month from each business you subscribe to.

How many merchants can I subscribe to?

There is a 100-subscription limit.

How do I redeem a mobile deal?

Just show your phone to the cashier, bartender, server, etc. when you make your purchase and then say, "Sweet".

How do I redeem an online deal?

Click "Redeem" and use the coupon code provided when you make your online purchase.

Will this service work with my mobile phone carrier?

Our network covers 99% of the US market, including: Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint PCS, Alltel, Boost Mobile, CellularOne, Dobson, and US Cellular. You most likely have one of these.

How do I stop receiving text messages?

You only receive deals on your phone if you text in a business keyword to our shortcode and subscribe. We also add "Reply STOP to unsubscribe" to every message you get, so you can opt-out at any time.
