Albert Vargas: Allstate Insurance

I opened my Allstate agency in Lynchburg on Aug. 1, 2012. While I don’t reside in Lynchburg, I do live in the next county over. I chose Lynchburg because of the friendly, hardworking people that make up this community. I truly enjoy living here, as we’re surrounded by gorgeous mountains and scenery. Downtown Lynchburg is constantly evolving and bustling with small businesses, arts, culture and great restaurants.

I moved to Virginia in 1996 and live here with my wife, Stacey, who is a professor at the Virginia Military Institute. Together, we have two boys and three girls. I cherish the time I get to spend with my family and we enjoy the community events and nearby attractions. Some of our favorites include the seasonal fairs in downtown Lynchburg, attending movie nights at Riverside Park and hanging out at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, which offers year-round skiing, snowboarding and tubing.
