We have insured our autos with Allstate for over 30 years. Our experience with our recent claim has been completely unsatisfactory. Our concerns, and questions seem to have been met with total indifference. Every time we were promised answers or follow-up, they failed to materialize.we most likely will be seeking coverage elsewhere.
So far so good the agents are friendly and eager to help, they demonstrate quality communication skills and seemed to be detail oriented and have a great customer service skills. I have already recommended a couple of friends and will continue to do so as long as I feel that I’m taken care off..
Iam always very satisfied with my service. The agents I speak with on the phone are always very knowledgeable and helpful. I plan on keeping Allstate for many years to come but, also as a long time customer I know of many people who switch insurance because the rates keep increasing. I have had several people tell me they have switched their insurance becuase of this. I do not want to change anything at this point but, would like to know as a long time customer Iam getting the best possible rates for what I have. Again, do not wish to change anything, just commenting on my concerns. Thanks again.
Fortunately, we haven't had any major problems, to date, that we would need Allstate for, but you guys have been helpful in other ways, i.e. getting our proof of insurance cards to us when we didn't receive them initially. I still believe our car insurance should probably be less than what we are paying now. We may need to research that in the future. Thanks!
I'm not happy with the fact I have to sign a waiver to keep my son off my insurance when he comes home from being away at college. Anybody else could come into my house and be covered when driving my vehicles but because my son's 18 he is to be exempt. If I was to go with somebody else this would not have to happen and I'm definitely considering that. He lives out of the city he works out of the city he comes home once and a while I shouldn't have to keep him on my insurance just for a few days and I sure shouldn't have to call you to have to him get put back on the insurance for just a few days I also had to call in to get an adjustment on my policy for my homeowner's when I had a new roof put on, and no one told me that there was such a discount and having a new roof. That should have been done automatically when I had their new roof put on instead of me having to call. But I do appreciate the fact it was handled promptly when the error was discovered. I am looking into comparing my cost with other carriers at this point because of the car insurance problem with my son other than that it has been a good experience
