Spoke with tiny this week and was vet unimpressed. I added RV insurance. I decided to **** Stuyvesant a little and found much cheaper policies. So I called back and asked him if that was the best he could do in a premium. He was quite short and said “we always give the best price”. I told him to cancel it and said it made me wonder about my other policies with Allstate (auto, homeowners, umbrella). He said nothing. So I said well then I guess I’ll do some more looking at other agencies. Hi reply was “ok Kimberley”. He could have cared less if I cancelled all my policies. Not the customer service I’m looking for in an agency. Never had the problem when I dealt directly with Ed. Anyway, I’ve lost confidence in Allstate and I suspect that I’m probably getting screwed on my other policy premiums. Time to **** around!!
Claim adjuster denied a siding claim from a huge wind storm in June 2017 and instructed us to put back on the two damaged siding pieces that fell off with torn holes that matched up with the studs 35 feet up. No contractor will ********* the work of replacing two damaged pieces of siding and the claim adjuster recommendation made Allstate look cheap. It took 4 months before the claim was settle. We paid a large $1000 deductible and replaced the entire side which was the correct way to resolve the damaged siding. We expect to get 50 mph winds today and the siding work performed is guaranteed. We have been with Allstate for 20 years and we question the ad every time we hear 'you are in good hands with Allstate". Also, had a similar experienced when our roof was damaged. Our neighbors do not seem to have the same claim experience we had. We do wish to discuss this matter further as we already have spent too much time fighting for the siding claim settlement John Puff CPCU
Well people getting in bids and such as we have done and you guys have gave us lean way on being having late payments I like that but as far as I know I heard on television and ads that you can get a check every 6 months or so we've never gotten a check from you all never gotten a check from you all and then you guys, we've been with you for so long we had a storm, it was damage to our roof and you guys gave us a check and snatched it back and messed up her whole bank account we never exact never called us again you never talk to us again never explain to me why all this happened, a person was sent to the home, he put in the claim it went through, a check was issued, y'all snatched that check back, but we were paying our payments, because that's what we need we need insurance, I actually feel like y'all are do I doing us like this because you can, with no explanation, thanks, let's see what I get out if this feedback
I have never received any personal service from this agent after many years of being a loyal Allstate customer with his agency. I recently needed help and he had someone else in the agency handle it. I am dissatisfied with the outcome but my largest dissatisfaction is the lack of personal service from Ed Scislow. I will be looking for similar coverage elsewhere since the cost of Allstate insurance is relatively high and personal service is not part of the value.
Initially, we were very pleased with this agency. However, after the agent we started with left, we became disenchanted with the service we received. For instance, when we stopped to drop something off the person who was there hardly acknowledged us, not even looking up from his computer. Then we asked how much purchasing a different car would effect our insurance the quote we were given as off by hundreds of dollars. Not the kind of service we had been used to receiving.This coupled with rate rising made us look elsewhere for insurance.
Not very happy after getting a letter stating you won't renew our homeowners policy if we don't get some roofing repairs done when no one told us 3,years ago that it was needed. All our neighborhood got new roofs and you advised us we didn't need one so now that we get this letter stating we have missing shingles and need repair we should have been approved for a new roof then. I am having trouble finding anyone that will repair a roof and try to match the shingles. I plan on looking for new insurance.
This agency is the best ED he always contact to you by email checking on you also not only that he will send you coupons for discounts. I've been with State Farm several years and they not like the Allstate It's not about the company it's about the person how he runs his Agency or his team. I pay my insurance automatic payment every month and my liability is expensive if I have cheap then what I pay that will be nice Cause I have a lot of insurance Agency sent me mail every week with good deals but It's OK you keep me here ED Because of your welcome me open hand and your great job with your agency, Allstate commercial says if you have a good hand i think ED and his team have good hand for this company Thank you so much ED. and I'm so sorry about my broken English
I drive less than 2,000 a year and walk to work my car is a 2001 Mustang - low replacement value I'm sure I don't recall any accidents Years ago, replaced windshield on my Jeep once, maybe twice But cost to me currently is about $1 a mile. I need to check all possible discounts with Allstate. I've been with you for a long time and had no problems, but of course no real claims would I be canceled if I was in a collision? Distracted drivers scare me and I coming to the age(over 63) where I'll probably be blamed for any accident. Accident forgiveness cost? Save driver rebate? Paperless discount but you send me proof of insurance card. I bundle car and condo insurance I like having had a long relationship, but does that mean anything if I have a claim? If I buy a mirror attached recording device, would there be an incentive? Kim Olsen
I have had Allstate for many years and have been very happy. But, I have recently moved to a small town, drive way less to work or shopping and my rates went up instead of down. I decided to look at other options and found the same thing for almost $40 cheaper. I do appreciate all you have done for me in the past, and if I could have gotten a rate reduction instead of a rate increase for driving less, I'm sure I would have stayed with you for my car insurance, but for now just my motorcycle is in your hands.
