I have had a long standing relationship with your office but until recently did not need much contact. I had a traffic violation for the first time in years and saw my rate go up. I contacted the office and worked with Ryan to identify the issue as well as the solution. He assisted me ever step of the way, even helping me with a number to reach someone to set up traffic school and provide me reccomendations on how to reduce my premiums until all was resolved. His consistent communication, commitment to my needs and his genuine care are not the reasons I joined your office but they will be the reasons I stay. Huge thanks for Ryan for being truly “one of the best”.
I've been with the Manhattan Beach Allstate agency for 30 years, first with John Daltorio,& after his retirement, with KJ Arbues. What a great transition! Over the years, KJ has been so great to myself & my family; always extremely helpful with ALL our insurance needs!! They are like friends,& after all these years, I'm still very satisfied!!!
I was really disappointed to find out that my vehicle insurance was going up, starting August 2017, due to an increase in mileage on both vehicles on my account. However, I was very happy, when Ryan offered to help me find a better deal on my homeowner's insurance. Since yearly, my home owner's insurance increases, I was very happy to hear Ryan tell me that I was going to be able to save $239.00 on my home owner's insurance, this coming year. In addition, Ryan offered to help me yearly go over my homeowner insurance policy to see how I can save money and not have it go up yearly, as it has been doing, since I got homeowner's insurance with Allstate. My experience with my phone call was fine. I don't, however, appreciate getting multiple notes asking for feedback. If my experience has been very bad or very good I would have giving feedback with the first note. Now I am only giving feedback to try and stop the notes from coming!!!!! And now I am having a negative experience.
I have been a long time (15 years) customer of Allstate and I can honestly say that I'm considering not being insured by this company anymore. I have never had to think about my car insurance as much as I have these last few years, mainly because some piece of information constantly needs to be updated (and updated again when it's not done the first time). And we haven't even had any accidents. It's frustrating and I just don't want to devote that kind of mindshare to my car insurance. In my opinion it should be effortless.
Overall positive experience. At times I felt there were communication issues (ie-my email address was "lost" as an explanation for not responding and call transferred to a service while agent was out of the office). I did not always feel totally confident in the answers I was getting. In the end, it turned out fine.
