Had several issues but they were eventually resolved after constant contacting the agent. The most negative thing about all of this is that when it came for my policy to start over I never got the policy information on price or coverage until after my first months payment, I would have liked to look over the information before starting again . If it happens again I probably will not continue doing business with all state.
I have Allstate for Home and Car. My auto agent is friendly and helpful. I've sent E-mails to Ms. Gupta and never received a response. The few times I have had to call the office, she was never there. The one or to times over the years that I was able to talk to her, I found her to be a little abrupt in speaking. I was taught if you can't say anything good then don't say anything. So the sentence stops here. And yes I agree with others, the Premiums do seem to be rather high and do seem to go up frequently.
I have not been satisfied with Allstate. We have received rate increases each term. When life hit and we had to make 1 late payment, we were chastised with policy cancellation. There are few payments options... pay on time or auto payment, not future dated payment options for events like mentioned above. No safe driver check after no claims made. Safe driver app is flawed, using GPS... how do you know I’m driving and not riding with a friend. Poor customer service, we were given inaccurate information by an Allstate associate. Roadside assistance is a *****. When we needed it, and called our agent, we were told they couldn’t get us a tow any faster or cheaper than if we just called a tow truck ourselves. There is a collection for an old renters insurance policy that my husband and I canceled before a month had even passed and Allstate still charged us for the following two months! Now we have a collection on our credit, hindering us from getting a home loan. Extremely disappointed, and we will be searching for a new insurance provider at the end of this policy.
This agent took absolutely 0 time to listen to what I was saying, after slight frustration she decided to hang up on me,then began purposefully ignoring my calls, then in an attempt to get rid of me, she told me to call when allstate had already closed. She was extremely **** and if it was my choice she would no longer be employed. She even acknowledged the fact that she doesn't listen during the phone call. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and I would not have joined Allstate if I knew this would have been my experience.
I emailed, left a phone message, then had to call myself. I want to know why my rates went up, not have a receptionist tell me everything is going up. I told her I wanted to speak with the agent, still no call. And I have NO idea why my rates went up, and everything goes up is an unacceptable answer. So, no, I would not recommend this type of service to anyone.
We have found Mrs. Gupta and her partners very effective in answering all of our questions and in tailoring Allstate Insurance and our needs together. All calls have been promptly responded to. Overall her agency and Allstate have delivered better insurance service than we have ever experienced before with other insurance companies.
Still waiting to be called back for the reason my auto premium was increased. I will not chase u for an answer as I took the time to come into your office. This is what stymies customer growth - not caring enough to follow up, obtain answers and relay correct, verified information.
