Grace Baker Larson was born in Hot Springs, Montana in 1940. She writes of her experience and memories, keeping her family's history alive.
Grace Larson had spent most of her life working to support her five children. Always an entrepreneur, she first started out by owning and operating a day care center in Minnesota. She then learned to paint and became a journeyman painter. Throughout her 13 years there, she never did not miss Montana. When she finally moved back, she kissed the ground because she was home! She was able to find various jobs to keep busy. She received an opportunity to work as a log skidder, being the only woman to work in a large construction. Once she had retired, Grace had time to remember how fulfilling her life was, growing up on a sheep ranch, so close to her grandparents.
