Great place for lunch or dinner with a view of the harbor. Delicious blackened fish sandwich! Their fries are probably the best fries I've ever had; perfectly fried and seasoned, with just the right amount of salt. Great atmosphere and very professional attentive wait staff. Lunch crowd picks up around 12pm. Lots of seating options, including private rooms for larger groups and a beautiful bar. Definitely recommend.
I visited on a Thursday for ladies night. I didn't eat, but thought it was nice that dining was still available. The ladies night was one of the better ladies nights I've been too. Not too crowded, didn't have to wait too long at the bar and the crowd was friendly. Outside there were a few groups that were rowdy on the boats but other than that everyone was chill.
I always loved this place. I visited a few times before the fire/renovation, when it was Bimini Boatyard. The name has changed, but the food, ambiance, and that view of the bay remains impeccable. I recommend the Bimini sweet loaf, yum. Everything on the menu is very aesthetically pleasing and bright, tasty and infused with very bold flavors. I highly recommend this place for any occasions, especially happy hour!
One of my favorites restaurants ! Everything is delicious. I recommended Floridian paella, key lime pie and for appetizer the calamari. All specialty drinks are amazing. I also recommend you arrive early so you can have a drink at the outdoor bar. Great views of the water.
Excellent meal but don't expect a low bill. We went here as a treat, had the honey bread, two glasses of wine, 6 oysters, the chicken which was good, and the paella which was excellent. Service was excellent. Total bill was 126 without gratuity, and that was fine for the meal, service and ambiance.
Albie was our server and he was very informative and hospitable. We had the Bimini bread and crab cake to start— both were delectable, especially the crab cake. The Oaxaca mole and roasted corn were the perfect accompaniment to the crab. The cocktails were also beautifully crafted and presented. Wonderful decor and all in all not too unreasonably priced, especially given the taste and quality of the food.
The food and service was impeccable, and it has a very upscale vibe. The waiter was attentive and personable. We loved the location which is right on the water. I had the salmon which was perfectly prepared. I can't say enough good things about the Boatyard, except to say that I would definitely return.
Service was slow, without attention to detail. The music was loud for a restaurant. The food was ok, although the mash potatoes had too much salt. I order the grilled Mahi priced $28, with caper basil sauce and mash potatoes as side order. The sauces and side orders has no price listed on the menu. To my surprise, the charged... More
I came here for my first time for brunch, so this review is for that. The decor is very boating and open with nice sunlight. My friend and I ordered the unlimited drinks and started with the Bloody Marys. They actually have a bloody Mary bat where you create your own. First you choose from spicy, regular, or ceaser bloody... More
What a fun evening at the Boatyard Restaurant! From the moment you walk through the door you know this is going to be a special evening. The high wood beam ceiling and open prep area for the kitchen immediately draw your attention as does the cart piled high with ice for the oysters, king crab legs, ceviche, and shrimp that... More
This is a lovely restaurant - everything on the menu is appealing. Food is quality, prices are okay. The service is just okay - efficient, not super friendly or anything. Can't exactly figure out what is off, but have had the same experience (or lack thereof) every time I've been. Gotta try it once though, if only for the lovely... More
The Boatyard has once again become a favorite bar n restaurant for locals as well as visitors. It's location on a canal off the Intracoastal also makes it a favorite among boaters. The quality of food is delicious and well presented. Best margaritas in town and on thursday nights it's a ladies night out favorite. Only draw back is the... More
Restaurant was suggested to us by our concierge @ hotel. Beautiful restaurant w/ great outdoor dining. We ate there 2x because we enjoyed it so much. Our servers were Liliana and our favorite, Danielle ( cuz she suggested THE dessert). Grilled wahoo or grilled swordfish are very good with several choices of sauces ( lemon herb vinaigrette & caper basil... More
Bimini Boatyard is one of our favourite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. It was I believe part of the boatyard, and the character remains. The food is superb, although the portions would feed a family. The waitresses were extremely popular with the men in our party, VERY attractive, but the guys were not bad either. A good place to go.
A highlight of our vacation. We love seafood and the fish here varies by the day depending on the catch. The preparation was very different. I had the grouper and my husband had the tuna. Both were excellent. The Bimini bread could be dessert! We were inside but could easily view the marina from our table. The service was friendly... More
Came here for lunch. Great environment with wonderful outdoor seating and views. It is along the marina and has a large bar inside if you favor the AC. Nice menu with lots of options. They can make things gluten free, which is great. Good service. I had the soup of the day, which was a gumbo that worked perfectly for... More
Food is good. Menu is not earth shattering or are the flavor a but it is solid. Been there twice now and usually sit at bar. Bartenders are on point and very friendly. Room is beautiful and the view is quite good. Outdoor area is quite nice. They have two private dining rooms that are well designed and look good... More
Loved the food! Sat outside by the water, very nice. It had good music on a Saturday night. The Sun Kiss was really good (for a fruity cocktail) and well presented with the frozen orchid ball in the drink. I had the Swordfish(cooked to perfection, it was like butter melting in your mouth) in a caper basil sauce with the heirloom tomatoes on the side(they came with blue cheese on top which made it so much better) I tried 2 different desserts that caught my eye on the menu. The decadent duo and the paradise tiramisu. The paradise tiramisu suprised me with the strong taste of passion fruit which made it a little too tart for my liking. The decadent duo had a lot going on. It had raspberry chocolate gelato(which was too bitter for our taste) with a chocolate cake that had dried cranberries on top in the center(which tasted weird with the cake so we just picked those off) and 2 small pieces of a chocolate mousse with a layer of something crunchy on the bottom(this was delish for those chocolate lovers out there!)
Atmosphere was upscale. Food was well cooked. A little pricey for separate items. $8 for a side. $3 for extra sauce. The octopus app was different and delicious. Fish wasn't the best of my life but fresh. Overall for a nice dinner it's good. The waiter put all tickets on 1 large bill so checkout was time consuming.
Thursdays are busy days as it was Ladies Night. Besides being a great restaurant, it is a popular social place whether your by the large inside bar or out on the large deck by the patio bar. The server and his trainee took great care of our table of 7. Service was fast and prompt. The server perfectly paced and... More
We stopped here for lunch. It was a lovely place right on the water. They had some great salad options & cocktail suggestions. We opted for water since we were driving to Sarasota later in the afternoon. I had the Boatyard salad; arugula, blistered corn, shaved fennel, avocado, roasted peppers, Jerez vinaigrette.( Sherry) My guy ordered the MAHI sandwich but... More
Went for dinner and had wonderful time. The atmosphere is very comfortable and casual. Located on the water almost all tables have some view, and there is dining outside as well. Staff is very good and will recommend if needed. Menu has good selections and varied. We had steal and fish, both very good and well prepared. I can recommend... More
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale. I go to this restaurant at least twice a month and have enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner and Mother's Day brunch there, as well. My personal favorite on the menu for dinner is the Grouper Piccata, and on the day menu I love their burger. Make sure to... More
Restaurant is located at the marina, super cool spot with outdoor marina deck dinning and bar, or indoor fancy dinning room. Food is average but serves good drink. More a social hangout than a restaurant for foodies, therefore wait staff is more on the casual to rough side. Serving wine by the belly and never provide a napkin even with... More
The place has been completely remodeled with a real city modern boatyard feel. Menu is more limited than the old restaurant but they do offer the Bimini Bread. Big bar area and still offering outside seating. Great views but average food at a higher price. Waitress was super and service was great. Valet parking $3.00 self park is possible with... More

Went here on the recommendation of the hotel concierge as he indicated they had a great lunch menu. We got there a few minutes late for the lunch menu but decided to stay. It was the best decision ever. Everyone loved what they ordered from seafood, chicken to taco appetizers. The veggies with each dish was superb. A little pricey... More
Dined here for an anniversary dinner on Sunday 6/26 on the patio. The good: Food was great and our waitress was excellent Had the brussel sprouts and Bimini Bread as an app. Both Grouper and Snapper were absolutely delicious. The unfortunate: There was a group of about 8 adults and 6 kids under the age of 6. The kids were... More
The old Bimini Boatyard was a favorite place for us to eat in Ft Lauderdale - we were so-o-o disappointed in the new restaurant, "Boatyard". The service was slow and not friendly, the food was not good, and the prices were over-the-top (which is OK for a great meal, but this definitely was not). We will not go back -
Ausgezeichnetes Essen in stimmungsvoller Lokalität mit schönem Aussenbereich. Sehr nette Bedienung. Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Great food in very nice atmosphere with a beautiful outside area. Very kind personnel. Definitely a place to see and eat in Fort Lauderdale! Very fair prices for what you get.
I was with a wedding party. We had several choices for an entree and I chose the flat iron steak which should have been a great steak. The Demi glacé sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes were delicious. One carrot was very hard. The green beans were great. The key lime pie was excellent. The steak was cut into medallions.... More
