Best NY stile pizza in town! Food, service and ambiance are excellent! Elegant/Simple decor! How? A beautiful combination of amazing chandeliers over kind of polished wood tables. Great place to go with family and friends! The manager Carlos and his staff go above and beyond to give good service. Thank you! We will be back soon!
We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in the door by the owner Gary. The place was busy but we were seated promptly. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We ordered the meat balls with ricotta (very good) and a large pizza which was excellent with thin and crunchy dough. Had a couple peroni's not on draft unfortunately but still good. then to our surprise Gary Guido the owner personally brought a complementary desert to our table. Molte grazie Gary
Went to Campania with my peeps for a late lunch. We had a fabulous time. Gary, one of the owners welcomed us into his beautiful restaurant. We tasted many different dishes, but the best for me was the rice balls. They were so creamy and yummy. We also had pizza and meatballs. We ended our meal with Nutella pizza, cheesecake, zeppoles, and tartufo. Can't wait to come back for a Sunday dinner here.
This place is great ! I ordered take out for the first time, and the hostess Eva was very sweet and kind over the phone. Was even nicer when I picked up the food. She recommended some of their dishes , and what to try next time. I will definitely be back to this location! 2 thumbs up.
Three of us decided to try lunch here. While the place is beautiful, the food and service did not match. We ordered family antipasto calamari, which came with one bowl of marinara, we finished it and it was never refilled. The hostess was the waitress and was over attentive in the beginning. Then she was no where to be found, our water glasses were empty, we had to waive her down for another beer? BTW, there were only 3 other tables. The chicken parm was ok, there was one small piece of mozzarella and the rest of the sandwich none. So really it was chicken sauce and ciabatta, not parm! The waitress did not ask us if we wanted salad dressing, but just served it, soaked in dressing. The dressing dripping off the plate, we didn't eat it. No lunch specials offered and rather overpriced all things considered, not so sure if I would go back!
I was looking for an alternate Italian restaurant in the area and this appeared to fit the profile of the style and kind of food. Nicely decorated. Service was okay , appears to be still on the learning curve. The pizza , sausage , I ordered, was a little hot ( spicy) and it wasn't the sausage. It was okay for me but could have been more tasty without the spice. My wife ordered a shrimp parm on wheat but it was wheat pita bread which we wouldn't expect in an Italian restaurant. The pasta dishes I saw being served looked good and if we go back there I would try it. I would also ask more questions about the dish I order. I'm not saying it was bad , it may be just a matter of personal taste. My opinion is one of .........
Last night in Miami and wished I had found this place before now. Highly recommended. Pizza was amazing and the meatball appetizer was hearty and perfectly seasoned. Manager came around to make sure we were satisfied, then the owner came by and introduced himself. We were given complimentary Zeppies as a dessert. Place looks high dollar but isn't at all. Thanks for the delicious dinner and wonderful atmosphere.
Place is beautiful down to the decor to the back-splashes and the bathrooms. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making this place look good. The service was excellent. We went on a Monday in the afternoon. The food was delicious! I was looking through the other pictures in Yelp and saw something I wanted but I couldn't find it on the menu but when I showed the waiter he said he can make it for me no problems! A little bit on the pricier side but the portions was good. Ended up taking the food home and just reheating it later on.
A very good place! Great pizza and great service. I loved the hostess, she was able to speak Spanish with my husband, in Portuguese with his friends, and in English with me, very lovely, I think her name is Camila. and the server was also great. his name is Tom, I guess. Gary came to my table to greet my family, made us feel in a familiar place. Congratulations on everything, I will certainly return with my family.
Probably closer to four and a half but not every good place can get a five. Highly recommended though. Good sized place, prompt but not super friendly service. Not to say service was rude or bad at all, just pretty simple and businesslike which I actually kind of liked. Pizza was great, really good thin crust pizza. 16" served three adults and a child that weren't super hungry at the time (that's two slices each so do the math for yourself). Plenty of tv's but no sound to distract from conversation. Great place, would absolutely return.
It's Brooklyn and Staten Island in Miami! Broccoli Rabe and sausage pizza, eggplant and ricotta pizza, with individual "small" salads that feed a family! Pizza for days!!! This is our new favorite spot for Italian food in Miami. Feels like home but in the tropics. Don't forget to try the arancini.
Moving to Florida from NY really makes you appreciate good pizza. We had no luck for months. Until Campania opened... the pizza really is great especially the Lombardi pie (prosciutto and arugula) but the staff man... at first we thought they were rude but then we realized from the hostess to the waiters, they were all clueless. Didn't know the menu at all... the girl at the front Answers the phone by saying Hello? ...BUT, the pizza is good lol
First time eating at this place. We went in because the pizza looked great through the window when We were walking by. It was great the service was great and the management was great.!!!! The district manager even sent over a complementary desert because they were out of peach purée awesome experience will be back!!!
We had lunch at this new place, and I was not impress. The restaurant it's clean new and has great music and atmosphere. It's sounds and feels like its going to be a great experience. We ordered a pizza and sandwich, the menu it's really small and I wish they had more options. Our server was overwhelmed having 3 tables for the whole restaurant during lunch time!?!
What a find! We decided on a late lunch and so happy we stumbled on this place! Started with the foccacia appetizer and this was a very thin pizza crust flavored with rosemary, olive oil and sea salt...it was amazing! Then we had the beet salad which was fresh and generous(we even ordered the smaller portion so be prepared for BIG portions on everything). We shared a pizza with cheese, arugula and prosciutto..it was AMAZING! Cooked to perfection, great flavor from the coal oven and fresh simple ingredients made this a winning combination. Reasonably priced for the portion and quality.
Had a 5 star review after our first visit, but yesterday we ordered a pizza over the phone, when my wife came to pick it up, we got a different pizza instead of what we ordered. We ordered a 1/2 buffalo chicken 1/2 lombarda pizza. We got 1/2 margarita instead of lombarda half instead. When wife came back and complain about it ,the cashier girl convicted her it was what she ordered. Ended up eating margarita pizza instead of lombarda and paying for lombarda pizza. Bad customer service. Didn't give one star only because the pizza was good ,even though not what we ordered.
First experience AMAZING SALADS AND PIZZA! Especially that I am a health freak, they have whole wheat pizza and the arugula salad with chicken was great. The larger portion was so suffice with chicken. Definitely, a new hangout place and to go orders..It was a cheat day but didn't feel I was cheating but eating good quality food.
Great food, gorgeous & very spacious restaurant, fresh everything (i think they make their own breads) and medium to HUGE size portions (you have a choice) at reasonable prices. Excellent service over all. I have been here now twice, and you cannot go wrong with their sandwiches, and the mixed drinks were great, no mixer in my Long Island (yay!). The staff is very friendly and I found that just about everyone in the restaurant knew the menu very well and how things were made. All questions were answered promptly. 3 minute wait for drinks, 5 for appetizers and 15 minutes for our entrees (and I ordered something special).
My mother in law told me and hubby to check out this spot and I'm happy we did. As soon as we walked in we loved the decor it had a very NY vibe. We were raving about how nice it was when the owner came over. We chatted with him and found out he was from NY. He gave us a tour of restaurant and then made some suggestions on the food. We ordered and when the food came we were so impressed with how delicious everything was. We will absolutely be regulars there. The food, service and the very pleasant owner made our experience there wonderful. I will be bringing all my out of town guests there.
Food average. Service so so. Overpriced for the quality. Mix pot of mussels and clams ($21) was ok, nothing to brag about. Apple salad is ok, not crazy good. Pizza is ok ($18), thin crust. If you don't want to drive to Fort Lauderdale to Louis Bossi's or to Proof in midtown (much better choices) than it's ok for the neighborhood. Sorry wish it was better. They just recently opened perhaps will be improved with time.
This is a must go place. The ambiance was pleasurable and the staff was phenomenal. I must say I give this restaurant a 5 star from the martini to the appetizer to the delicious main course. I had the chef's special and it was not only a super humungeous portion but with so much seafood and decadent flavors. We finished with a delicious tiramisu and cappuccino. Do not miss the experience. Can't wait to bring my family here.
Ive been wanting to try this place since it opened a few months ago and I have no regrets. The food is delicious. We ordered the wings, calamari, the shrimp sandwich and a pizza. I know thats a lot but couldn't help myself. Everything was soooo good and the service was great. I will come back to try the mussels. A MUST TRY KINDA PLACE! Forgot to mention the ambiance and drinks they all got a thumbs up
Went to eat at Campania about 2 weeks ago even before their grand opening. Restaurant looks beautiful, service is great, very large choice of food on the menu but mainly I had an eggplant parm that i have never tasted anything like it before. I tried it in a lot of high end establishments in New York since I am an event coordinator and have my own party planning company and eat our all the time. 6 stars for food. :) PS. Gary the owner is a great guy, say hello to him when you are there or ask him to recommend what you should order.
Walking into a restaurant with Sinatra crooning in your ear and a larger than life Sofia Lauren peering at you from behind the bar is a great way to spend an evening. The ambiance is great, the staff very friendly and to say that the food is delicious is an understatement. North Miami needed a great pizza place and we finally got one!!
The place looks straight up fancy, like a Louie Bossie. The staff is extremely friendly and very happy. The place again, looks elegant and something you'd want to take your mom or mother in law too. The prices are very decent too, Stella's off the draft for $7.00. The pizza was good, not te best, but really good.
