Rich McManus is my agent ...I would highly recommend him. He knows the Insurance business inside and out and feel he's always looking out for my best Interest. I have been with him for many years at the recommendation of a good friend .at first I was nervous about changing companies and agents...I am truly happy I did.
I have been with this agent since around 2012, but in recent years, the quality of service and accessibility has gone down considerably. So much so that I am planning on switching agents. Calls go to nondescript voicemail boxes so you have no clue who your leaving the message for and e-mails go unanswered. This year I got an increase of almost $300 for six months and while I get that everything is going up, I would at least like some explanation as to why. I can’t reach anyone and messages and e-mails go unanswered. At this juncture, I would not recommend this agency.
I’ve been a member for many years. I never had any problems with Allstate. Every six months I receive my policy and my cards through email. I remember once loading my trunk and I left my keys inside and close the trunk. I called, they came, they unlocked my trunk. Very fast and professional. They are always there when I need them. I also receive a refund check every six month.
Charles Maurer's Insurance office has been responsive to my insurance needs whenever I needed a change, address update, or other help without being overbearing offering new products or services. I greatly appreciate working with Charles Maurer's office for my insurance needs.
My experience started out great. My agent however wrote my cargo van policy incorrect and because of that Allstate dropped us. I asked for help finding another policy about a month before it was set to expire and relayed to them, please do not wait for the last minute. After numerous phone calls and NO response I have only days to scramble to search for insurance. This isn’t the first time they have been unresponsive and it is so very annoying. Find someone who calls you back not this office.
rates have fluctuated constantly, the online payment system apparently did not register my due balance, and instead processed a recurring payment without deducting the balance which in turn disqualified me from the pay-in-full discount. When I contacted the company, I was instructed to "only make changes over the phone as the online system sometimes isn't in sync". While I know the rep has been working hard, when contacted I was frequently met with "I'll get back to you on that" with no resolution. Allstate, while cheaper than most other companies, cannot receive my recommendation at this time.
Nope, after sustaining damage to my vehicle, I was told it was not covered because the policy had lapsed in collision insurance back in 2015 and I was never informed. NO one ever called me to inform me that I was in danger of losing coverage because the vehicle was never inspected. This is outrageous! So basically I've had no vehicle insurance for the past 3 years although my premium has stayed the same. I come to find out that I'm only covered if someone else gets injured in another vehicle. Look out Geico, Progressive and State Farm because here I come now.....
