I DO NOT RECOMMEND David McDavid Honda of Irving. I exchange several emails (see below) with Gordon Meek and agreed on $32,950.14 (out the door) for a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L. I went to the dealership to purchase the Odyssey van at the agreed price. Once I arrived and spent over an hour, they told me they couldn't offer to sell the car on the agreed price. They didn't even apologize or have any remorse. David McDavid Honda of Irving is DISHONEST. This also happened at Rusty Wallis Honda with John Hargis. DO NOT GO TO Rusty Wallis Honda . Both David McDavid Honda of Irving and Rusty Wallis Honda tell you lies to get you in the door. When you show up at the dealership, they try to use aggressive sales tactics to get you to buy the car at a higher price. After the horrible experience, I finally purchased a van at Bankston Honda in Lewisville. I RECOMMEND Bankston Honda in Lewisville. They do not play or have any hidden cost (accessory fees, advertising fee, deliver fee, etc.)
I first went in May 27th but wasn’t quite ready to buy and since everyone there was so nice to me I decided to come back especially since Roman had followed up with me without putting the "aggressive sales pitch” on me and said I may be interested in a few deals. Now that I was ready I decided to go and worked with him to get the Sporty Accord my very own 2010 Red Honda Accord Coupe I’ve longed for. I had a decent deal back in May but I wasn’t ready and now I got an even better deal but what I wanted to thank them for was for being professional, not aggressive or pushy and outstanding customer service. It really shows when you care about your customers and I couldn’t have had a better experience elsewhere....trust me I tried other dealers and no one compares to this one.
recently visited David McDavid Honda of Irving for a Honda Odyssey. I had emailed the sales director about the minivan. He said the vehicle I was looking for was available. I even telephoned the dealership before starting from home regarding the availability of the minivan and was told they were waiting for me with the same. However, when I visited the place in person they said that the minivan I was looking for was no longer available and they tried to force the sale of other cars on me. The way these guys work is: (1) Put attractive internet price on their website and lure customers. (2) When you show up at the dealership, they try to force sales of other cars which are on the higher side on price from the one that you asked for. Beware of David McDavid Honda of Irving.
I needed an engine in my Jeep. We found AEI via the internet. They towed the jeep from my driveway with an estimate to rebuild of $1,876.00, taking my personal check of $800.00 as a deposit. The time frame for completion was 10-14 business days. We were given the runaround for weeks and finally got the ok to pick up the vehicle 6 weeks later. The final bill was way over estimate ($2849.23)They refused to take a personal check for final payment. The vehicle ran horribly, and the faceplate to my radio was missing! We took it to another service facility where I was told that an improperly rebuilt (possibly not even rebuilt) engine, had been improperly installed with substandard parts. We had it serviced there costing $1200.00. Many phone calls and letters to AEI were unanswered. The jeep ran, but not as well as expected. 3 months later it began losing power, idling high, stalling. I took it to another mechanic who told me the engine needed to be replaced. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
Took a waverunner in because once started and turned off, it wouldnt start again unless you unplugged a fuse and plugged it back in . Also asked them to winterize the ski. It took two days for them to charge the battery. At first they said it wouldnt hold a charge, then a day later, it does hold a charge. They (Race) then suggested that I needed a new meter because they couldnt get it started. What ??? They also said they couldnt reset the meter. I finally went over there and picked it up because they dont know what the heck they are doing. Brought it back home and it fired right up, found a guy off craigs list who reset the meter and got it working immediately. If you want to waste your money, take something to them for service.
Labor rate is twice the competition and far less than par in performance. Had a flat "repaired" there but they only had small plug-n-patches; didn't offer to get the size of p-n-p needed to fix the leak. Instead, they gave me the tire back (with the same leak) and charged me for a patch-n-plug ($8.00) and a half hour labor ($40). The mgr did call a local place and provided me with a cost of $200 for the tire + $12 for install at Bates (35E N of 635) for a new rear tire when I got there the tire was $20 more than stated. \t\n\t\nInstead of this dealer (stealer) go to The Old Bike Shop off of 35E at Empire or any where else. You're sure to get a better deal elsewhere. Had it repaired correctly (and balanced) for $28 elsewhere and wish my so-called friend never refered me to them to begin with--and that I never went to Stadium in the first place.
I can't comment on the store, as I've never been there, but I ordered some Yamaha apparel from the Stadium Yamaha website. I couldn't ask for better service. Product was in stock and shipped quickly. And I received plenty of order info. I would definitely buy from their website again.
