“I usually come here for a Friday or Saturday night dance fest and have a blast. But if you want to have a less hectic Purdy experience, check out the happy hour. 3 PM - 7 PM Monday through Friday. 2 for 1 everything and you can walk around and not have to weave through 12,000 people to get to little boys'/girls' room.”

“After a long month of traveling around it's kinda nice to be back home :) I came to one of my home base stops to get some good eats, cheap drinks and the kind of service and welcome that makes me feel right at home. TJ, my favorite bartender, tells me all the rib menu items are $1.00 off! The ribs are sooo good here.. That plus the half price drinks after 9pm makes me one happy girl :) if you go by late night sit at the bar with TJ, he'll take good care if you, tell him Jeannie sent ya. ”

“Best pizza in this part of the beach! By a mile.... So gooood, sooo yummy- I'm talking gourmet pizza between 15-20 bucks! The lobster bisque is outta this world!! Cute and really friendly waitstaff and bartender. You'll feel like you're family by the time you wrap up your meal here ;) Go see German at the bar- tell him Monique sent you! He's a sweetie and easy on the eyes too!! ”

“Sushi served on lil boats floating thru a lil river by ur seats. I love this lil place! ;) the sushis always fresh cuz they are always packed in here! It's a small restaurant, like 25 seats so expect to wait abt 20 minutes, mostly during peak lunch/ dinner hours. The decor is as old as the place, like 15 years.... But the quality is never compromised (as far as I'm concerned) and the prices are cheap!! Wine, sake and beer available. Totally worth it for a cheap sushi dinner that's fresh n YUM!”

“Half OFF the ENTIRE WINE list every Tuesday!!!! And the food is full of flavor! As soon as u sit they will give u their homemade Bruscetta with fresh warm bread. Be sure not to fill up on this before u look at the menu. (It's really that good! I know cuz I've done it before!) Again, sit with Frank. “Since 1942 this juice bar has been serving Miami Beach residents smoothies and juices from local farmers. They have such a friendly staff and a healthy environment. George and John bought the from their uncle who started serving locals 70 years ago. They will remember u after just one visit to this juice bar and they will genuinely ask how ur day is going. “Right on the beach Normans is popular with locals and tourists, which makes for a fun crowd ;) the food is way better than you'd expect and still served up at low prices! On Tuesdays if you're a Miami beach resident you get 20% off your check, that's right, you know you deserve it! “Konnichiwa! They daily happy hour at Doraku is pretty affordable and very delicious. They have sushi rolls and sashimi for under $6. If ur feeling like getting a lil drink on u can have beers and sake for $3 each. Lunch Happy Hour is M-F 12-3 and Sat-Sun 130-3.”
