“Fresh fish fried to perfection. This place is an experience! A staple in Miami for locals who don't care for frills just good food. Step up to the bar and place your order of a Minuta sandwich (my favorite), lobster burger, black-eyed pea fritters or Arroz con Mariscos (fri,sat,sun). They also have a fish market with today's catch to take home and prepare your way-but why would you? There's so much selection-you'll find something you like!”

“This seemingly out of place lodge is a great spot when in the Grove. I usually come here after Sandbar to listen to the band, which is usually tolerable and sometimes pretty good. Happy hour is M-F 11=8 PM with great drink specials and from 3-8 PM 2 for 1 appetizers.”

“Best sushi I’ve had in a while. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. We munched on the Gyoza, miso soup, and a few different suchi rolls. Most of the choices on the menu are between 2 and 14 bucks..and to go along with the delish food on Wednesday they do 99 cent sake jars!! I went with my friend and his son, and for dessert they gave his kid pink cotton candy in a bowl, served up high, Dr.Suess style…so cute, he loved it of course, but I did too! ”

“Expecting a ton of traffic, I showed up at Cocowalk for a movie and had like an hour to spare. I didn't want to venture too far and luckily this watering hole is conveniently situated 2 seconds away from the theater. Cheap happy hour and for a quick alcohol overload, try the 190 octane.”

“I've never been much of a Minelli-Sondheim gay but this is a place everyone must check out. They have a live piano player and all the Broadway Betty's come out and sing their favorite showtunes. The food is surprisingly good and the Sunday T-Dance is worth checking out. BBQ out back and half priced drinks from 5PM-12AM. Maybe call in sick on Monday?”

“New owners have spruced this joint up! Added sandwiches to the menu like an awesome Philly cheesesteak that I devoured..as well as oyster n shrimp po boys, Chicago beef sandwich and lots more. All the tasty sandwiches are under $10 and they still have their signature hot dogs too, also available on the cheap. $5 Brooklyn Lager and $1 ice cream sandwiches to boot! ”
