Grout Works Bay Area

Very happy with Grout Works. Michael was professional and timely. He gave us a free estimate with a thorough expectation of the work to be performed. We had an approx. 400 sq. feet commercial kitchen to be completely re-grouted with kitchen appliances in the way. He and his crew got the project finished in two days. Truly impressed with his work and would recommend to others.

Mike and crew came today to fix my broken grout. They showed up right on time and did a great job! I didn't really shop around for pricing so I can't really attest to whether he is more or less expensive than others but what I can tell you is I'm very pleased with the job he did and I wanted it done right. We hired Grout Works to clean & repair the tile in our kitchen and bathroom to get our house ready to sell. Michael did an amazing job! It's an old house, and there were quite a few repairs that needed to be done, and the grout was a mess, and Michael made it look as good as new. It not only looks amazing, but it's SO much easier to clean now! I only wish we had done it sooner! He arrived on time every morning, worked non-stop all day, and was a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Grout Works!!

Glad to add my 5 stars to the reviews. We just put our home on the market and had Michael clean and re-grout. He even arrived an hour early on the second day since time was an issue. He's very responsive in answering emails and competitively priced. Everyone who has seen our job has commented positively. I have only one regret. Instead of a one-time move-out cleaning, we should have had him come in every few years to keep things looking good.

I hired Grout Works to clean and seal the old stained grout in my shower and living room floors. The grout throughout was heavily stained and Michael brought it back to like new condition, and applied a new color coat sealer that matched the original. He showed up when he said he was going to, worked like a demon all day, helped me move the furniture in and out and was kind, courteous and helpful throughout. I would not hesitate to use him for other upcoming projects and highly, highly, highly recommend him. Plus, the work was very fairly priced. So happy I found him!

Michael is one of the best people who have worked in our home. He worked on our bathrooms five years ago and did an incredible job - he took our showers and floors from having dull cracked grout to our showers and bathroom floors looking brand new!

I was very fortunate to have found Grout Works. I recently had my HVAC system replaced and in the bathrooms some patching tile work was needed due to relocation of registers. My HVAC Contractor (Eco Performance Builders; see my review of them), found Michael of Grout Works to repair the bathroom tiles. Michael is a congenial professional with many years of experience. He told me things about my tile floors that I did not know, but wondered why they were loose in some areas and grout missing in others. He is soft spoken confident and easy to get along with. If ever I replace my inferior installed tile floors Michael will get the call. It is always nice when you have a contractor like Michael in your home that you are totally at ease with. He answered all my questions, did the job in a short amount of time and even ran to Home Depot to get the proper grout of which I was lacking after gnawer 11 years ago these tiles were installed. Michael Johnson is top of the line for grout work. His prices are very reasonable and his workmanship second to none. Our three year old grout had become extremely stained and after Michael's work was complete it looks virtually new again. He was very prompt, professional, and informative. My Wife and I highly recommend him and if we have any grout or tile work needed in the future, he has our business.

Michael does absolutely beautiful work. He has done several tile jobs for us and I will never call anyone else. His prices are very reasonable for artisan-quality work, and he is so quiet and professional that you don't even know someone's in the house. I've never heard of anyone using tinted sealer, but the difference in the final result was impressive. Great guy; great company.

Michael does incredible work! He did some tile work for us a few years ago, and we called him back last month to re-grout our shower. The work is BEAUTIFUL, and the price was great. Also, Michael is a super nice guy, which makes it even better. We would highly recommend him, and hire him any time!

We hired Michael to grout and reseal our shower floor in an old Edwardian from 1908 in San Francisco. He did a highly professional and marvelous job. The work was difficult but he mastered it with bravura. Michael has our highest recommendation.
