“Dan was quick to provide an estimate for the small sod job in our back yard. The price he quoted seemed reasonable and he was able to start the job promptly. Little did I know this meant he would show up with his high school aged daughter and friend to "complete" our project on Saturday morning. When Dan informed me they were "done", I noticed the sodded area was not level and was a big hump in the yard. I had specifically indicated from the start that I wanted the area flat, level and graded. He then said he would have to come back with his crew to fix it. Why didn't he do that in the first place!? Dan stated he would come by the next Saturday but never showed. I tried reaching out to him several times for several weeks, finally asking him to simply refund my money. He replied once saying he'd been in the hospital but several months after that still no reply, no refund and a hump and uneven sod lines in my back yard. I gave him 2 stars instead of one simply because the did he did put down is still alive (more thanks to me watering it). Do yourself a favor and call someone else. Oh and by the way, I've seen him in the neighborhood a few times since then so I think he's up to yard work again.”
