Cool people, the foreign guy is the only one with experience. Every one else is fresh out of barber school or at least cut like it.. Check your hair good before you pay and once more before you leave.

Been going for years. Even moved 10 miles away stil return favorite hair cut spot in phx!! Much respect glad found spot have never once messed up once.

They are great, and take their time with my hair and my son's.

I've been going here the past 5 years. Never had any problem with the staff. They've always been very friendly. Ilya doesn't smile a whole lot but he does make you feel welcome and appreciates your business. I welcome the fact he'll actually talk to you while he cuts your hair. Having a mute barber is uncomfortable. At first the cuts were great but it just seemed like with the amount of barbers that have come and gone the quality has kinda diminished. There is one other regular barber there that does a great job but I've forgot her name. She doesn't seem to work when I can make it in. With that I'll say I'm happy when I sit in llyas chair, it's like the days of 5 years ago. I could make an appt and make sure I always get him but when you don't have that luxury you tend to count on consistency. That seems to have dropped off. I'm hoping for a rebound!

I have been going to this barber shop for about 10 years now and it is a great barber shop everything is very clean including the razors.. They are always happy to see you and I enjoy seeing them and being a part of watching their small business grow into a very nice barber shop. Even when I lived in Cave Creek I would drive down here to get my hair cut. They even put a hot towel on your head and give you a massage, what more can you ask for.

Hair is one thing just dont ever consider taking your gold to the foreign guy. He knows very little about gold which worries me. Also he looked at my gold flakes worth around 50 dollars and said it was worthless. When I took the bag home it weighed less after he stuck his fingers in there. Do not trust this guy.

After trying quite a few diffrent places i found the perfect place. They really know what theyre doing,theyre fast,and they are quite friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent hair cut.

New to area was looking for a hair cut for my son. Short haired lady cut his hair. I showed her a picture of a short haired taper. She left long on top and the shape of his Mohawk in the back. I won't return.

Great hole in the wall barber shop that cuts hair the old school way. The staff is super friendly and I usually have Masha cut my hair. Ilya is great too and if you give them a chance you won't be disappointed.

$14.00 for a great haircut, hot lather and straight razor neck shave, hot steamy towel and a shoulder massage. I will go every time I am in Phoenix. I was there 12/31/2011 and 06/09/2012.

My son is 12 years old and has had his hair cut by Masha since he was 6-months - except for 2 times when he was away! I've used Ilya since he bought the place around 1997 and do not ever want to go anywhere else!

I have always gotten top notch service at Ilya's, and the quality of the cuts is better than that at some salons that charge 2 to 3 times as much. Loyal customer for over 6 years - and counting.

I've been going here since 2004, Miva's my gal she's always there waiting. I've only had to wait 1 time for 5 minutes in the past three years for a chair. Ilya is the nicest guy and his place is always clean and professional. I use to go to supercuts or the other chain places only to see 10 salon chairs with only two people working and 5 waiting. I don't have 45 minutes to wait for a 10 minute haircut. At Ilya's it's in and out, and they also give the complimentary headed head wrap and quick massage, all for $13.00 bucks. You can't beat it!
