I came to get my tint done 10/22 and brother Larry was a great and funny guy he helped me out a lot , even opened outside of his business hours for me , he was quick and the pricing are reasonable the waiting area had Netflix whitch was great so I could be entertained while getting service provided , I will definitely recommend
Groupon BEWARE BEWARE! SCAM! If you make an appointment for a specific time/day, but a full price paying customer shows up during that time, they will cancel your appointment or claim that you showed up at the wrong time or day. TOTAL SCAM AND RIPOFF. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR GROUPON VOUCHER NUMBER. They redeem your groupon voucher and you WILL NEVER see your money again.
I really hoped to write about an excellent experience, but unfortunately it was exceptionally poor. Timeliness with regards to appointment times on two instances was nonexistent. Making sure things are left how they were found, not the case because on both instances items were damaged and not fixed. Customer service when requesting service with common tint problems difficult to get a hold of someone and even more so to get them to come repair them. Lastly, the quality of the tint itself is unimpressive.
This experience was not a favorable one, My car had air pockets throughout the back window, Front passenger had a long strand of hair within the tint, some of the window tint sizes did not fill Windows. Scheduled appointment to correct issues, Customer service did not serve me as a customer, Yet gave me so many reasons around a solution. I ask for them to just remove the tint, then i was told that it would be $75 more after paying 150 prior. This tint job is only 30 days old. I did not even want a refund!!!!!! Ultimate Audio has scheduled me for tomorrow for tint removal and a proper installation of window film. For me, money is not a obstacle, i just believe in giving the small businesses a opportunity. Good luck to Massive Tint!!
This is my second visit here, I come all the way from Clermont to visit! Everyone is very friendly & make your time very enjoyable with Netflix and Hulu available in their waiting room. Tint is amazing and great quality. Would recommend to anyone local or make the drive! It's worth it 😊 See you again soon Massive mobile!
Oh, how I feel like a fool! I typically ALWAYS t ad reviews before going to a business such as this, but I found the Groupon and purchased it as a gift to son-in-law who only comes to town once a month, for the weekend. I called and seta Saturday appointment, which was this morning. When I got there, I was told that they don't honor Groupon on Saturdays if they have cash paying customers, regardless of my appointment made 2 days earlier. Then said if I got a refund from Groupon and could pay cash, they'd take me. What????? I was then told that Groupon allows them to drive traffic to the business, but they tell everyone that calls they'll honor the Groupon price as long as it's not purchased because they lose a percentage. THIS IS A SCAM business...stay away. If not, at least you've been forewarned. I wish I had read the previous reviews. This place SUCKS
Bought a Groupon. Tint job came out very nice, no bubbles or anything. I'm very pleased with the work. However I wasn't too pleased with the cleanup. My car was left with tons of dripped spray all over the exterior and the interior, I had to buy $30 worth of cleaning products to get rid of the residual mess. Additionally, a large amount of tint film was left in my back seat, and multiple cut pieces were left near my back windshield. Would probably use this place again if I had to, but would probably specify for them to clean up after themselves.
Holy moly do I wish I had read these reviews first. I took my car in to have it tinted based on the groupon price but told the guy that I would gladly pay full price if he did a good job. He was friendly, but the quality of the job was dreadful. I found dog hairs underneath the tint film on my rear window so I brought it back to have him redo it under the warranty that he gave me. Rather than heating up the window first to soften the adhesive like he should have, he just ripped it off like a band-aid and took half of my defroster traces with it. He then tinted right over the top and now the window looks like garbage. I confronted him about the wires after he was done and he denied having destroyed my defroster saying that he didn't use a razor. Now I have to replace my back window because the little patch kits at the auto parts store won't cut it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
Had my windows tinted on a friday, after the service i took a close look to the work. Window tint was not tucked under gasket about a 1/4 short from covering all the window in all four doors. Air bubbles on all windows tinted. I returned to have them review and fix the work, was very polite and wanted to fix the bad tint job. Saturday came back to fix the work, now some air bubbles are fixed, but tint is not all the way under the gasket for a four windows and now with air bubbles. About 1/8 gap showings, looks like i tinted it myslef. I drive a 2012 volkwagen jetta, nothing fancy. But i feel if u need a good quailty tint job please shop around more. They are very reasonable in price, but the quailty of work could be a bit more on par. Beware after the crap job they do, charge you $25 to take off there own crapy tint, and then ask if you want the glue off for $50... wtf??? After all this work, i have had to clean my car out three times... please ppl do not go here, find another shop...
Oh how I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying my groupon! Larry was very friendly when I took our first car. Then I took the second car with another group in and had asked them to tint the windshield. (I was quoted $25 extra on the phone). I got there and Larry said "oh she quoted you the wrong price. It's $75." After discussion we settled on $40. Typically I would have walked away but I wanted them to do a good job on the other Windows since I had already paid for the groupon so I didn't want to rock the boat. They left my cars filthy and smelling like an automotive garage on the inside. And the windows were smudged. I just thought that was how it was but after reading the reviews I see how wrong I was. Their customer service is very poor and they have a tendency to be crooked. Out of curiosity I asked a cop the legal limit for window tinting and he said 28%. These guys told me 20! I just moved here and everyone else I've met/dealt with have been great so I thought I could trust these guys. The tinting works great but I'd prefer never to deal with them again. Hopefully the tint job holds up.
I purchased two Groupon certificates, one for my BMW and one as a gift for my sister and wished I hadn't. The people at Massive Mobile were unprofessional and both vehicles had to be redone due to the terrible tinting jobs done at Massive Mobile. I don't know why they are rated 84% satisfactory on Groupon. Both cars were left with stains on the interior leather and fabric, rips and bubbles in the film and damage to the rubber stripping on one car. I got my money back from Groupon and went to a professional installer in Altamonte Springs. It cost more but it was worth it. If you're thinking of going to Massive Mobile, don't. If I could give them Zero stars, I would.
I just got my brand new car tinted here. The last time I got my car tinted somewhere it started bubbling immediately so of course I was cautious. However, I very quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. The owner did my car very quickly, with no hassle, and it was very affordable. You are not going to get this level of service and skill at these prices anywhere else. Trust me.
English is not my best but the message is here....Did a bad work, and my windows inside were nasty dirty!! The more i looked the worst it was!!! At least he was able to take it off the tints and refund me the money....but i dnt know what was worst...before or after de installation! The pics talks by them selves!
I discovered this guy through a Groupon offer and when I called he said don't bother buying the Groupon, he will just give me the price. I arrived to find a dirty shop with one guy working alone. He was very unprofessional and complained the entire time about not getting lunch even though I arrived after lunch at my appointment time. By the time he was done tinting my 2-door coupe there were film pieces all over the interior of the car and all the windows were streaked and dirty from the solution. The buttons for the windows were taped over with a large piece of white duct tape to remind me not to put them down. Unfortunately, my windows move down about an inch every time I open the door (which I advised him), and within a few hours the film was peeling away on the drivers door corner. The next day when I removed the tape I discovered that the power window button was broken and it came off with the tape! In the following week the drivers window continued to peel and it was obvious upon closer inspection that there were uneven cuts at the edges of almost all of the windows where the film had been trimmed. Tomorrow I have an appointment with a reputable company that will charge me $75 to remove this crap tint and properly apply a quality 3M product in a sterile environment. In addition to the removal fee I'll pay more than triple the original discounted price for a new, quality tint job. Don't cheap out on window tinting. If you use Massive you will actually pay twice; once to apply an inferior product with substandard workmanship, and again to have it removed. Look for a dealer that offers a no-nonsense guarantee and uses either 3M or Llumar films. This business is not worthy of your patronage.
Brought a 5 day old 2015 car in to have the windows tinted. The car was brand new and spotless. When the tint was finished, I found scratches in the hood that weren't there before. Of course when I pointed it out, I was told there's no way we could have done that. Like shame on me for even pointing it out and blaming them. The scratches WERE NOT there when I drove there. They also left the car looking like crap from all of their over spray. All down the door panels, hatch back, dash inside of my new car; streaks from their spray bottle. They didn't even bother to try and clean up. The outside was just as bad. Horrible streaks down the sides of the car from every window. I was told I needed to wash the car. Really?! I bring in a spotless car, and have to pull out with scratches, having to wash it and hoping all the streaks inside will not stain the new car interior. Finally; the tint job is pathetic. Pieces cut and used that left parts of the window still exposed. Lots of debris under the tint that will forever be bubbles in the tint. Lots of creases and bubbles in the rear hatch. I was told all of this work itself out. Why would you cut tint for the front windshield, piece it together, see that you cut it short but still use it? Then, you take my Sunpass sticker and place it over your mistake thinking I wouldn't notice. If you have an old car that you don't really care about and want a fast tint job without quality application and care for your vehicle...this is your spot.
I wanted this to work out so badly! I bought that Groupon back in July. The owner, James, and his team came to carefully apply tint. They took their time and I appreciated that. I mistakenly asked for tint that was too dark. My fault. I was so glad the owner returned to fix it (additional charge but reasonable) himself. He was very nice and friendly. Then the peeling began. He was so nice the first two times I had no trouble getting him back to re-do the job. I even tipped him. Fast forward a few weeks and to my dismay the driver's side window tint is now peeling at the bottom. The problem is my windows automatically dip down when the door opens. I think the proper way to install tint in such doors is to stop the film before it reaches the bottom. Instead, he went underneath the rubber. The end result was a gradual lift in the film. Now I have a driver's side door that won't roll down and it looks *horrible* :-( I need to find a qualified installer to replace it ASAP. I would reach out again since he was so nice and ask for the tint to stop before it hits the bottom but I fear I already put too much money into this simple job. The Groupon was not worth it! I was better off going to a full priced shop the first time around.
Believe it or not this guy is still in business and I actually gave him a shot about 2 months ago (Yea, I know, I didn't check Yelp early enough). First off, this used to be a mobile tinting service that was included in the price of the Groupon. Now he charges $25 to go anywhere even though the Groupon says nothing about this up-charge. Basically the "craftsmanship" of the work is terrible, I could have literally done it better myself If I had the time. To begin he didn't clean the windows before the tint was applied therefore, there was grime and air bubbles all over the windows under the tint. 2nd, I asked for the front window strip along the top of the window to not be below the legal limit (Which I specifically pointed out and is marked on the window) and he acknowledged me pointing this out. Well, he simply ignored my request and tinted about triple the distance down the window (Which was obstructing my line of sight). 3rd, it looks like a rat chewed parts of the tint on the corners around the edges of the window. I have no idea why or how this was accomplished. 4th, I asked him to call me when the car was done. Instead I waited about 2.5 hours and then I just showed up, to my surprise he was already finishing up another car. What a total waste of my time!!! He couldn't even shoot me a text, WTF? If there was a way to give negative stars this guy would deserve it. GET A REFUND for your Groupon, Living Social, etc... Don't waste your time or money, run far far away.
Beware, I was also a victim of this Groupon scam. I also purchased a Groupon voucher for their services, however was never able to get through for an appointment. Good thing Groupon was good enough to cancel my voucher and refund my money despite the time that had elapsed! Don't even bother doing business with them.
I found out about Massive Mobile window tinting through a groupon deal. It took me 2 weeks for them to set my appointment for a Saturday, since they refused to come out to my place of business to tint my car, without charging me a $20 "service fee." They set my appointment for a Saturday at 9am. I called back TWICE to confirm my Saturday appointment. They confirmed it with me both times. Saturday roles around and no one calls me. I call the office, which is supposedly open on Saturday, and no one answers. I left a voicemail. They call me back Monday morning and after telling them I got stood up on Saturday, she has the nerve to tell me my appointment was set for Monday. Then she says she will have the driver call in my 10 minutes to come out to my place of work. The driver calls me 5 hours later. Finally, after the work is done, the tint on my back window peeled off the same day. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR BUSINESS! They are extremely unprofessional and do a piss poor job.
BEWARE!!!!! I got a groupon for a window tint and I called the next day to schedule an appointment, they said they would have someone call within the next day to set up an appointment. No one called. I called daily for another 5 weeks and no response. Last straw was when I called from another number and they finally answered and I set up an appointment and after they asked how I learned about them I said I had a groupon, they promptly said we'll call tomorrow for appointment and they promptly hung up. Never heard from them again. Warning!!!!!!! Stay away!!!!!!!!!!
Don't waste your time with them! I bout a deal through Living Social in April and spent the last 6 months trying to get ahold of them. I left several messages, both during business hours and after. They never got back to me, and for a while their mailbox was full. Most unprofessional company around! With service like this, it's a wonder they are still in business! I'm taking my business elsewhere, and assume everyone will be doing the same!
I had purchased a deal 3 months back from livingsocial. I kept calling but no respond. Neither Livingsocial nor this company bothered to inform me that I am wasting my time and money. Now LivingSocial say they will refund me in deal bucks which I guess I can use for similar deals in future. Well done.
I love these guys. they went above and beyond there job. I received a coupon from living social and called immediately. I was greeted by a woman that was more than happy to explain to me all of the all that the business had to offer. I immediately scheduled my appointment I will contact him by the gentleman that will be doing the job on my car. the day of my appointment I had a personal issues...
I completely agree with Alejo and J.R. They are not lying because I had the same EXACT experience as them. Anyone who purchased their livingsocial deal, just email livingsocial and get your money back because your voucher will never be honored. Don't give this company any money!!! They are a bunch of scammers abusing the growing popularity in deal sites like Groupon and Livingsocial. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever come across and deserve to go out of business. How did livingsocial do business with them without first checking their reputation. If anyone else had a similar experience please review it here and help spread the word. Oh and I like how the filtered reviews from John and Marie were on the same day. Obviously friends of the owners or the owners themselves. Scammers! Owner is: James Dumorange
I purchased a coupon through Living Social to get my windows tinted on April 8th. It is now April 22nd and I have been calling over and over, and emailing them to try to schedule an appointment and I have NOT had my call returned in all this time. I always get a voice mail, and most times the voice mail is full and you can't leave a message. Living Social is trying to tell me that Massive is extremely busy because of the promotion - but after seeing the 2 reviews apparently that is not the case. They are also telling me they can't refund me unless the business is closed. Now I am seeing that Massive is supposedly CLOSED! (I just happen to see this on Yelp) So someone is trying to screw me over. Either way I want my money back. This is extremely unprofessional to not be able to reach a company for something that I already paid for in advance.
I called so many times in the past 3 weeks and no one picked up. I guess i know why now. I had a deal with them through AmazonLocal and had set up an appointment. They said they would have to charge me $20.00 for doing the back window( ridiculous). It should have been part of the deal. Either way i had to get a refund since the business is closed and i wonder why. I'm glad i didn't do business with them.
