I have been with Allstate since around 1996. I think I had them before that as well but change agents so my time with Allstate has been a while. I find that when I need help with a payment or a policy change or something that requires help, they are always there to help. When ever I had a claim it was short and easy as it should be. If you are reading this review and trying to decide on an insurance agent or company, this is the right place !
"The claim for my roadside service reimbursement payment was exceptional. Within a week I had received payment after mailing the claim information. I have never had an issue until recently with my New Mortgage sending me a letter stating that they were charging me for insurance since I did not have and they needed proof of my Homeowners Insurance. I spoke with Diane to get it resolved and she said over and over again she sent the info in August. I am holding a letter in my hand dated February 6th that has charged me $2700.00 for insurance and I want it resolved. I am confident that Diane most likely sent it in August but somehow, someway Bank of America did not enter the information to my account. Diane interrupted me several times with the same explanation that it was sent in August. At this point it is not about who is right or who is wrong....please just treat me as a customer....Listen To Me......Then Speak to me and resolve my issue even if it means sending documents 2 or 3 times. I did NOT feel like a valued 19 year customer.
Your personable disposition has made it easy to stay with you for over 20 years. That you and your staff remember my and Jimmy's names enforces why we believe in you . That you do not judge us for being human keeps us with you since we have never forced our beliefs on others. That you keep it real tells us this is the place to be. I cannot stress the importance of having the right team in place for that time in life that you need it the most - a family emergency. We have had it with damage to our home and vehicles. Allstate and in specific, our agent Mike Hammer handled it like a pro and we didnt have to do anything but wait for the repairs to happen. We have been with Mr. Hammer for over 20 years and his disposition, availability and above all, his honesty has been the same throughout all these years. I truly feel like family when I step into his office. Thank you for all you do.
I was just really disappointed that the information given to me when I asked was inaccurate and it cost me more money. And then when I went to pay my renters policy completely the amount was entered in wrong and I had to make another payment. If I was giving the correct information to begin with I would have saved time and most importantly money. It truly was a frustrating experience.
