I DO NOT recommend Muffler Brothers in Huber Heights, Ohio. NO!!! NEVER!!! You will leave with persistent problems. The employees are rude. I heard them saying insultive things behind the wall. Those people whom are working in the back garage, "ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED"!!! They are incompetent, lack of respect, and inability to speak about the cause of the problem. You will go home to look at a mess. The mentality is, "don't talk to us, don't ask questions, give us all of your money, and get the #$#$# out". Your engine will die on the road; one hour after, they had milked you for all your money, and promised that it was fixed, and the man will bow up on you. He will not help nor care. They don't fix cars. It will happen over and over again. I do not recommend their work on anyone's car for their safety or my own. They will not fix cars. After, they did the head gasket repair, my car left their garage with a bad oil leak, wrong spark plugs that were put in, and engine misfires; only to hinder. A refusal to look at it. I was treated far better when I left that place, and went somewhere else, and those mechanics were actually willing to engage with costumers, fix a car, and treat people with dignity. I still kept my cool after eveything that they did, and the mess that I saw! That place doesn't care if you have to get somewhere without needing a tow!!! Zero repect or dignity for other people or things!!!
Would never go back or send anyone. If they can't do your exhaust right there's no way the rest is. They stuffed a 2-2 1/2 inch pipe in to my 3 inch pipe then filled it full of weld when they should of used a 3 inch pipe. Also one of the hangers broke. And the muffler sucked. Bad bad bad
I was sent to Muffler Brothers by a few different people who all have good things to say, to fix a serious exhaust leak on my car. I could have done the job myself if I had a welder handy, but I didn't so I was forced to go with them. I brought my car in, they quoted a couple hundred bucks to put a whole new pipe into my car between the cat converter to the muffler. They also suggested cutting out a flange that was rusting out, that held a second cat converter in place, I urged them to just use what was there and install the proper gasket that I had purchased for $7. When my car was driven around it had a subtle rattle, it was the end of the day and I could tell they wanted me to get lost so I did. When I got home I discovered they had removed the flange and installed their own pipe between the two cats, in the rear cat there was a rattle. I wondered where my $7 gasket went, and $23 bracket that I had purchased to keep the flange intact. I could have at least returned the gasket, but they threw it away (it was still in the plastic). I had planned on taking my car back in to get the small rattle fixed for a week and a half or so, but my job prevented me from doing so. When I finally got a day off, my car lost serious power on my way to Muffler Brothers, I didn't know what happened, I thought something new developed, I never had any problems with Wagner Subaru, so I putted my car over to that dealership. They diagnosed my car for free and told me that my cat converter was completely shot, that the rattling I heard was something that had broken within the catalytic converter, it had made it's way backward and clogged up, causing my car to lose power. I putted home and called Muffler Brothers, who claimed they didn't touch my cat converter, when I could see, clear as day, that it had been completely removed at one point or another while they worked on my car. I asked if I could get it repaired for free since they pretty much ruined my car, and they told me it would cost me $680. I didn't want to get into an argument over the matter, so I hung up and sent an email to the company. That was two days ago, I am still awaiting reply and still my only car can't run. Don't do business here unless you want to get walked on.
They are good but now after they worked on my car it overheated and they had it towed back to their shop and now I am being told I won't get my car back for a few days instead of making my car a priority when I just had them work on it earlier that day. I felt like I wasn't important and now after they fix my car I will take my business elsewhere because I feel that is poor customer service. I could understand if it happened a few days after they worked on it but to bring it back in the same day it is not good business to put it on the back burner. I need my car and I am inconvenienced by not having it.
