This review is for service technician Hector Sevilla. This technician makes his company proud. He is professional, on time, polite, patient, listens to his customer, educates his customer and does an awesome job on the service he provides. Joseph was very knowledgeable and friendly when it came to demonstrating the filter and test the quality of my regular tap water. Family members in Texas have soft water and so purchasing my home I was already planning on making the investment in a system. Joseph explained the financing very well and gave me all the discount details up front making this a painless and easy purchase decision
So I see all these reviews where people are really upset about the post card. I think the marketing is great! It got me to call and I immediately knew they were selling something and when I found out it was for water treatment I was SO happy as I am in the market right now. I just moved here to Oceanside and the water is HORRIBLE. I have an appointment in a few days and I know all about bad city water and have owned many water systems including RO at the kitchen sink. So good for them that they got me to call and I wasn't pissed off. No one wants telemarketers calling and sometimes direct mail doesn't work very well. Chill out people it took a few minutes out of your day. More people need to become aware of just how bad our city water is (not just in Oceanside but all over the US) and educate yourself and call this company back.
My husband and I are first time home owners. Delvon has made our home even better by introducing us to their water filters. We are happy with our purchase and the quality of our water. He was professional and answered all our questions and possible concerns. Thank you so much!
Sent me a "Notice of Package on Hold". Called the number. Turned out it was Nuvia. The spam letter is carefully disguised to look like a post office notice. The company name or purpose was not displayed anywhere on the notice. This is a very inauthentic and invasive way to market and I object to this way of manipulating people into hearing your sales pitch
My review is negative because I had a negative personal experience last year when I moved into a new home in Poway, California. This company attached to my door a card on multiple occasions last year. The card looked like an official package delivery notice that was marked Urgent "notice of package on hold" 2nd attempt call xxx-xxx-xxxx! The number and the card are from Nuvia. Have nothing to do with me. Super deceptive marketing. I received the exact same "Notice of Package on Hold" from Nuvia that other reviewers have obtained. It looks like an official U.S. Mail package... It is a fraud. And no matter how hard Nuvia continues to try to remove my review this is now the third post. I will continue to repost it to let others know about this scam. now moving my feedback to facebook and other social media. I am not going to let this go, they must be accountable for their business practices that are so deceptive.
We have had the nuvia system for 4 years now and we love it. Nuvia is very professional any problem we have had they come to fix it and our 5-7 year supply of cleaning products are still going strong. I'm so glad we made the investment. The alkaline water is awesome. Don't need lotion, hair is shiny, coffee tastes better. No water spots. Easier on our pipes and septic tank. I can't imagine going with another company.
Be aware of this companies deceptive techniques for soliciting you to call in response to a Notice of Package on Hold. No where on the notice does it indicate that this is a mailer from Nuvia Water rather the company attempts to represent the Post Office or other delivery service by indicating that two attempts were made to deliver a package. When I called the 800 number as directed a representative of Nuvia stated that a package with a gift card would be sent to my by listening to their sales pitch. Pure and simple this is a SCAM. Very deceptive marketing practices.
My husband and I just bought our first home and DelVon from Nuvia got in contact with us to come do a water demo. I previously lived in a house with a water system so I had some idea of the benefits but the tests in front of my face blew me away. We couldn't believe how junky the tap water at our house was!! It's really difficult to be healthy these days and we thought it was a great investment in the health of our bodies (and the pipes of our house) to get the water system.

When we moved to Lake Arrowhead area we thought it would be good water but it was not. We have extremely dry skin, my eczema broke out and looking at the dish washer... it was disgusting looking! So This is our second system (first one was left at our home we just sold... it was one less thing to move) and so happy and excited we finally have it in our new home!!! Jose Torres did a fabulous job. Amazing plumber... very clean. He was very polite. Scott H sold us both systems and was very polite as well. This is the best water for our family. The Pro system and the reverse osmosis is the way to go!!! Our skin can finally get back to normal now we have it!!! Thank you Nuvia for creating such a wonderful product!
I personally find it hilarious that all of the bad reviews on here are from people who did not purchase a system and many who have not even seen a demonstration, but simply perturbed by the companies marketing system. If you are that easily upset and frustrated by a piece of mail, then all I can say is "it must really suck to be you".
A water system was not something we were in the market for when we first bought our home, after receiving a notice of package on hold for a free water test and a Home Depot gift card, we thought, sure why not. (We could definitely use a few things for our new home!) We knew the water was bad, but after seeing our test results there was no way we could continue to live with what we had seen. We've had our Nuvia system for almost 2 years now, and it has done wonders for me and my family. The difference in our skin, our hair, everything from our appliances and using water to cook/drink, has made such a difference in our lives. I received a courtesy call a few days ago that we were due for an annual service. The technician was on time, fast and didn't leave a mess! I cannot tell you enough how pleased I am with our service. I highly recommend Nuvia to anyone looking to clean up their water and improve their overall health.
In response to Natalie A. : Its deceptive marketing. The postcard is designed to look like its coming from a package delivery service. Look at the amount of complaints you are receiving about the same marketing campaign. You should just take ownership for the deceptive practice and apologize to the entire community. Let everyone know it was a bad idea and that you have evaluated your marketing methods! - Don't try to justify the cheap attempt at gaining business. It's an insult to new home owners.
I just had my annual water service and filter change for my salt water and reverse osmosis systems and the techs, Hector and Andrew, were friendly and very knowledgeable. The service was fast, thorough and on time. I would recommend Nuvia products and services to anyone looking for a good and quality water.
Beware: They state that you have a free trial period. The sales person will tell you to give it a try "no harm, no foul". Or.. should I say "If you touch it, feel it, taste it, and if it doesn't do everything we say it will do, we will take it back no problem, no cost to you". All I can say is this is a complete lie. My wife and I actually decided not to have the system installed the night after the sales man (Matt) came to our house. With us opting out, Matt continued to throw in more incentives if we would just give it a try, after all if we don't like it they will take it out free of charge (this is verbatim). So we decided OK we'll give it a try and if it's some magical addition to our living we will keep it. However, it was quite the opposite. My son and I have very sensitive skin and we began to become very itchy and even rash out a bit. I will say it did not seem to bother my wife, or other two kids other than the slimy feeling. So we called Matt (Nuvia sales rep) to tell him it just wasn't working for us. He immediately became some what defensive and stated that we can't just give it back that they would have to see if they can sell it as a used unit and we would be on the hook for the plumber fee of $500. I reminded him of what he had promised, that it was a free trial and if we didn't like it we could have it taken out, no harm no foul. He said that was contigent upon whether or not it did everything he said it would do (how can you have this stipulation on something that is subjective and of ones opinion?). He also said they will only take it out if it doesn't "work properly". Overall this is just a poor sales tactic and very misleading. I called the sales manager and we ended up settling on a non-salt unit for $2400. The sales manager was very nice doing what a manager should do trying to mitigate a difficult situation. However he still stated that we were on the hook for the original unit and plumbers fee if we didn't go with at least one of their other products even after he stated Matt probably did mess up and maybe push the line just to make a sale. Really do I need to say more..... I gave it two stars because the reverse osmosis is awesome, however, just go buy one yourself and have it put in and save some money. I will say I notice nothing different with the non-salt filtration system. Maybe something I can't see is going on, either way I'm stuck buying one so I hope so. Lol
While attending the home and garden show at the Ontario convention center we came across Nuvia. To be honest we were not looking for a water filtration system. But they offered a free home water test so we figured what the heck. The water specialist they sent was named Delvon Hardaway, and we could see he was a very down to earth guy. He showed us the pros and cons of hard water and soft water and also tested our water. We didn't feel pressured by him at all to buy his product. He was very kind, friendly, and patient. He answered all our questions, that's when We decided to purchase the system. Delvon was able to get it installed the very next day. We only had one little hiccup, but Delvon was able to take care of the problem. We have had the system in our home for about a week now and we absolutely love it. We would recommend this product to anyone. I would also recommend that you ask for Delvon Hardaway.
My sales rep, DelVon Hardaway was friendly and didn't pressure me into a sale. I had a water system before so I already knew all the pros and cons; and he didn't waste my time trying to sell me something I didn't need. As far as the system goes, it has been working great and my kids and I love our silky smooth water. The soap package that we also got has great fragrances and works really well with our soft water. I highly recommend DelVon as your sales rep if you want to go with Nuvia Water Technologies. He knows what he's talking about and doesn't sugarcoat anything. :)
We were in the market for a water softener system because we were noticing the negative effects of hard water, particularly on our dishes. The plumbing company that we call when we have plumbing needs recommended the Nuvia Water Softener system. We gave Nuvia a call, and they set up an appointment to come out and test our water on a day convenient for us.
Mind... BLOWN! My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting our water specialist, Myron McVea. Myron was very prompt and direct with facts about the "water" we currently receive from our city. Not only did he educate us about what's in the water, but he did so by proving it to us through different water tests. We even had the kiddos sit down with us to watch, it was very interesting and fun, but mostly saddening and unpleasant to find out how bad our water actually is! Even the water that we thought was good coming from the fridge, was just as bad as the tap! Not only were we drinking this stuff, but we bathe and wash our clothes in it! Arrrrgh! And the worst part..... The government, doctors and plumbers know how bad the water is and they still don't say anything! It's all about the money people, open up your mind! It's called job security! Fortunately we had Myron as our specialist. He did such a wonderful job with explaining everything, and you could tell he wasn't in it for the money, he just wants to help others live a healthy life. If you're interested or curious at all about this company and getting you're house water filtered, don't hesitate, do it! And ask for Myron McVea to be your water specialist. Thanks Myron!
My husband & I just bought our first house & got a "care package in the mail from Nuvia. They came out and did a free water test in our new house and we found out our water is almost UNDRINKABLE. After doing multiple water tests, it was almost instant that my husband and I agreed to get this system. Delvon Hardaway is our representative and he is so was so amazingly kind. He was professional, not pushy at all, & seriously walked us through the whole process. He was honest about payments and the system at large and we cannot recommend him enough. We've only had our system for 2 days & we already have noticed a HUGE difference. Delvon came back to our house and retested our water. It was not quite up to his PERSONAL standards so he changed the settings on our water filter for us before he left. 100% happy we got a Nuvia system
Most Deceptive Marketing EVER, NOT ETHICAL I will never use this company purely for the postcard that came to my door as a brand new home owner, 3 days in..."NOTICE OF PACKAGE ON HOLD". It even has a package number and "For delivery options"...what a joke! I actually thought this could be my missing book! NOPE. Called late around 8 (my fault for thinking the post office would actually have a number you could call and that would be open)...and was greeted by a woman who offered us a prize package/gift cards for water testing. I asked how they knew we had just moved in, what company it was, who they were and told her how deceptive this marketing is and how angry it made me...I told her I had been expecting a package that had been missing and thought this could actually be it! She said they didn't mean to be deceptive and quickly said if I was ever interested to give them a call and hung up. Why would anyone ever use a company with such unethical marketing? What a joke. You will see the manager reply to other reviews like mine, and most likely reply underneath this. Go grow some ethics, Nuvia. I'm a 30 year old, smart female who lives in Orange County. If you have any wits about you, please follow my advice.
We were not in the market for buying a new water softening system as we already had a non operational one. We got many postcards in the mail saying "package on hold" or free gift card so we decided to call. Although it was a deceptive marketing scheme we were truly pleased to have Matt G come and check our existing softener. We ended up buying a whole new system and are very happy with the results. Matt has been very upfront and honest about everything through the whole process.
Deceptive marketing practices from this company. I'd avoid at all cost just based on this. Not sure how great/bad their product or services are, but this post card speaks for its self. Feel free to call the 800 number to confirm. Other side of this card is blank. Any company that has to resort to these tactics is not worth my time. Rather have gotten a Nuvia brochure on the benefits of great water instead of this crap.
Horrible way to market a product. It is all very suspicious and I see red flags everywhere. Read Michael B review. Got a phone call from FED EX to expect a package that would need a signature. HA HA, I haven't moved in yet so nobody will be there to sign. Everywhere I look there is no company name. Not on Fed Ex tracking, not on postcard and had to force person at the 800 number to name the company and describe the service they had. If Nuvia is legit, then they should handle things very differently.
Happy with the system, it works well, and the alkaline water is delicious. We had an issue with the faucet that required a service call. They came to fix it and due to a mix up in phone #s we missed the technician. The customer service department made it up to us & sent someone out on a weekend call. Overall good system & the water is amazing.
Nuvia uses a deceptive marketing scheme. New homeowners receive a cryptic, unlabeled postcard claiming a package is being held at their facility. To complete delivery, you must call their 800 number. The postcard does NOT contain Nuvia's name nor any reference to the nature of their business. There is no indication that it's a solicitation for business, but is, in fact, designed to be perceived as a notice from FedEx, UPS or some other nondescript delivery service.
I would like to thank Natile a Customer Service Representative for Nuvia Water Technologies Inc. She show me great customer service and if I had any problems, she will have the answer and resolve any issue I had. I really appreciate it , living large on great drinking water that help me a lot with my recovery of my surgery and now my skin looks and feel great. I've had the Nuvia water softening system and their RO system for 18 months now. The system works great and I have had no issues since it was installed...about just to get my first set of filters replaced. The system is maintenance free, and it has transformed how the water tasted. I don't miss the days of having to buy bottled water! I've recommended this system to my friends and family and would do so to anyone thinking about drinking better water.
My family and I just purchased a new house. It was the first time that my husband and I were on city water. An employee from Nuvia came out and tested our water. He was very informing. We had no idea that our water could be so dirty coming from the city. He told us that is only has to be clean at the plant that it comes from which was very shocking to know. The very next day he set up for our Nuvia system to be installed. The technicians were very professional and friendly. Nuvia is a great company to purchase a water softener system from. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and time conscious. I recommend them to anyone in the market. The water test is free and you'd be surprised at what you might be drinking.
We decided to get a water softening system for our house when we bought our home in April this year. The area we live in has extremely hard water. Besides the obvious positive skin/hair/drinking health reasons, we wanted to protect our new home from future plumbing issues and tankless water heater damage. Plus my husband utilizes it for work as a mobile detailer and power washer (no water spots). All around good investment. Dave from Nuvia took his time and explained the system, its components and maintenance (which is really nothing!). The whole house pro system and under kitchen sink system is pricey but if you calculate what you'll spend to hire plumber for repair of corroded hard water deposits on plumbing, water heater breakdown or damaged busted pipes, it's well worth it now. Plus piece of mind is priceless. The water tastes amazing and it is SO easy to just wipe down clear glass shower doors and stainless handles/knobs after showering! Done! Even after install we had a unique issue where they had to come back out and reposition the piping in garage for system and the office contact I spoke to, Esther, and technician that came out, Allen, were both extremely polite, friendly, quick to solve our issue, helpful, professional and cared about us as customers. We will continue to recommend this system to all of our neighbors, friends, family and just about anyone we meet when the subject comes up! Thank you Nuvia!
From the first visit (sales visit) to the installation and customer service follow-up, the entire process has been phenomenal! Nuvia Water is professional from the start. The sales person took time and demonstrated the effects of non-treated water with such enthusiasm that my kids thought it was a magic show! The installation technician was very prompt and did not make any mess. There was a minor leak (defective hose) that was quickly repaired by Nuvia. With so many parts in an advance water apparatus...things bound to go wrong over time. This hose was the ONLY minor issue and the leak was quite minimal. The excellent customer service and immediate troubleshoot makes Nuvia stand apart from all the others. We highly recommend Nuvia Water Technologies for all water purification systems!
