After having a homeowners policy with Allstate for 14 years, it would have been more helpful for the agent to review that basement flooding is not covered by the normal policy. It is almost hidden and in the "fine print" - claim was closed because I didn't have an add on policy which would have cost me very little additional. This info was never discussed with me and very easily missed. Recently suffered a $20,000 loss after sump pump failed. The agents should be more clear up front and upon renewing yearly should ask the homeowners about additional coverage. This was a huge shock of not being covered - why pay for insurance or have it at all when nothing is covered. Policy and agents need to be more clear when offering coverage. Very disappointed and frustrated.
Excellent. Cruz Agency has always been there for me with either advice on insurance needs or just a phone call away with assistance for claims. Personnel is always friendly and helpful. A pleasure to work with. I always give high recommendations when asked who insures my properties.
Car insurance is way too expensive, and is not delivered as promised. My rates were supposed to go down much more in the 2nd year. I am thinking of changing to another agency for car insurance. Until recently I was paying more for my monthly car policy than for my car payment -- that is ********** on a 2013 Nissan. I would have liked my agent to call and tell me how I could save money and see if I am eligible for any more drivers' discounts.
Hi Allstate! Overall I am content with the services Allstate provides, with the exception of one incident: In January, I received an email indicating that I qualified for a preferred rate, and that I should follow up with your office. I did so, and everything checked out; the credit inquiry was run and I was taken off autopay in preparation for the rate change. However, your representative called me back immediately following and indicated that I was not, in fact, qualified after all, because I hadn't had my license for long enough and that I should give your office a call back in July. This would have been no big deal- humans make mistakes- except that I was not properly put back onto auto-pay, and this resulted in both lost money and quite the scare, as I received a letter indicating that because of my tardy payment, I was at risk for losing my coverage. Next time, please make sure I actually qualify for an offer before offering it to me! This whole riggumrole could have been avoided if your people had done their research properly. Thanks.
