When I first got in touch with Richard O'Connor for my apartment insurance, I asked for my payment to be automatic withdrawal. Gave them my info, etc., I was subtracting from my checking account every month, then I received two letter on the same day...one stating my insurance was cancelled, the other welcoming me to Allstate. I called they said they would take care of it and would send me hard copies of my bill...NEVER RECEIVED EITHER!!! Called again...still not taken care of and now I have received another notice that I do not have insurance. I am now looking to combine my apartment insurance with my car insurance which is with Geico.
Service and claim process has been great through the online/app Allstate experience. The local agency has added little advice or support. Requested quotes for homeowners insurance was never received; price for car insurance has increased drastically causing me to **** rates starting now. There has been no attempt to make a "connection" with me or our family personally....it has been all business, mostly via email, online or the app.
1) These surveys are frequent; yet nothing changes. 2) Been a LONG term loyal customer and quite saddened over time of the customer service, employee turnover, etc. 3) Premiums rise 4) most recent, went in for an address change (after doing it online 2 wks prior to see the change hasnt taken affect) on my account and got CHARGED $36. **********. When this term ends, I will be halt my acct. Looking elsewhere.
I really dont get rate discounts or notification of eligibility for certain benefits. I am greatly considering leaving allstate as an insurance company. I hear all these details about getting a check for a certain number of months of safe driving. I have never recieved one check for safe driving. The only reason I stay will allstate and this agency is because I have not had time to make arrangements with another insurer.
I send in my payments for auto, umbrella policy. I would have liked to have my home owners insurance through Allstate but didn't get much help since they said Allstate wasn't insuring homes at that time. Don't hear much from the office or staff but I make my insurance payments on time.
Excellent customer service! I needed renter's insurance after a previous company failed to fulfill my lease requirements. Allstate provided me with exactly the coverage I needed at a great premium. The office staff was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Allstate branch to everyone.
