We recently moved to the area from Florida and I changed my auto policy through Progressive. They put me with Privett as my local contact. Since then Valerie and her team have provided me with business insurance, change of vehicles on my policy and most importantly found and filled the holes in my previous policy that could of really hurt me and my family. P.S. They'er all pretty nice too, I never feel as thou I'm bothering them when I call. Thanks guys

Knowing that they are up to date on the best way to insure my assets so that at claim time I do not have to worry for one second that I'm perfectly covered is the best peace of mind ever!
I had not received my insurance information and knew that my bill would be due soon. Called into find information and Matthew was confused from the beginning of the call and treated the entire call like a joke. I tried to talk to someone else but he said he was the boss and wouldn't let me. I am 100 percent unhappy with the way things have been handled. If I can't talk to someone other than Matthew who will take my business seriously. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future. He was confused as to why I would need any information when I could just call in and make a payment. Well if he cared about note than collecting my money he would understand that having insurance information is important and that it is correct is even more important.
I wish I could give them 0 stars!!!!! What an awful insurance company all around. These scam artist are the most unprofessional group i have ever dealt with! They talk down to you if you ask the wrong questions and then when I wanted to cancel the owner Val didn't do what i asked. The worst part about the company is that the owner is the one who treats you like crap more than the others. I will ALWAYS tell people about my experience with Privett Insurance and the non-professional group of agents they have in there. I have looked at more insurance companies and most all of them are cheaper and they treat me like a human! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!
I've had insurance for 20 years with different agents and I've never had an agent take the time to explain my coverage so I understood it. Val was thorough, professional and responsive. It is nice to know I have a local agent to call if I have a claim. Would highly recommend Privett Insurance.
Just recently purchased my new home and used privett for homeowners insurance. At first, the ladies were very friendly but that quickly changed. I found homeowners insurance for a cheaper premium so i called to cancel with privett. It took them over a week to fax me a cancellation request and i also received a phone call from VAL PRIVETT at that time. She was extremely ugly to me. I tried to apologize for the short term policy and tell her that i appreciated everything she did for me, but she proceeded to tell me that she hoped i never had to file a claim, that Farm Bureau wouldn't take care of me so on and so forth. She was a huge witch and i couldn't be happier that they no longer have my business. I suggest never using privett insurance. They are extremely unprofessional and if you ever cancel with them, you will receive an ear full. They will say you used them and wasted their time. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These guys are just fantastic!! Not only did I save over $750.00 by switching I also now understand my coverages. I had been insured for the last 25 years with either Allstate or State Farm and trying to speak with the actual agent required nothing short of a court order. With Summit I actually spoke and dealt with the agent Mr Collins from the start. We actually went over coverages and after all options were made available he let ME decide what I felt was needed. Not the cookie cutter coverage I was getting from my old agent. If you want an insurance agent that gets the job done try Summit.
Simply the best !! I have been a customer of this group for many years and Mr Collins the owner still handles my business personally, not farmed out to support staff like most agencies do today. He always has time to speak with me on the phone and takes the time to make sure I understand my coverages.
