Founded in 1967 as a company specializing in Industrial Process Heat and Control. The Jack Barber Company serves principal suppliers as a manufacturer's representative, an authorized distributor and an engineering consultant organization. The founder, I.J. "Jack" Barber (1905-1990) had many years experience in the fields of electrical power distribution sales and the industrial radiant process heat industry after graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1926. A well known authority regarding electrical radiant process heat applications in the 50's and 60's he helped to develop the electrical radiant equipment used today in everything from automotive paint drying to railcar ore thawing.
